Kate Barr

Photography is: stopping time, documentation, a tool to expose objects people overlook, instant gratification. Photography has intrigued Kate since she experimented with her first macro lens. She loves capturing small details, things forgotten and stolen moments.

Kate also freelances and volunteers at Barnswallow: A Wild Bird Concern. Volunteering at Barnswallow has allowed her to photograph the resident and visitor birds you see pictured here. Many of the birds pictured are educational birds used to teach about conservation and to facilitate further learning opportunities about raptors and other creatures.

Currently, Kate is a photographer in the SE Wisconsin area.
